Cleveland, OH –, October 2011– Anthony Sterns, PhD and CEO of iRx Reminder, LLC, has been chosen again to present at the mHealth Summit in Washington, DC on December 5th, 2011. In 2010 iRx Reminder was selected as one of 40 Technology Demonstrations. This year he will present “Smartphone-based Comprehensive Self-care Management for Chronic Conditions” with results of a study utilizing the iRx Reminder application. The study investigated and supported the effectiveness of a smartphone-based self-management, data gathering and reporting system for research with individuals in post stroke recovery. Dr. Sterns will also lead a discussion of the broader implications of this methodology for chronic care management along with a demonstration of iRx Reminder’s interface and web-based control center.

The mHealth Summit, the largest event of its kind, brings together leaders in government, the private sector, industry, academia, providers and not-for-profit organizations world wide to advance collaboration in the use of wireless technology to improve health outcomes in the United States and abroad.
