iRx Reminder to present our Tech Demo at IT Martini 18 in Cleveland
Six (6) DEMOs at IT Martini Hour 18
July 19th, 2011

The Northeast Ohio market is strong for technologists largely due to the growing support for technology start-ups. Tech company incubators in the Cleveland area have helped propel the region into new areas of opportunity: a recent JumpStart blog by Lynn-Ann Gries cited 10 small loan/grant entities ($2,000 to $40,000), 14 mid-size funding sources ($100,000 - $500,000) and 20 active 'angels' with high dollar investments.
Several high profile funds contribute to the Northeast Ohio technology market including Ohio’s New Entrepreneur Fund, JumpStart, LaunchHouse, the very new Hatch Partners LLC and the seven (7) incubators supporting the Health Tech Corridor. According to NEOSA’s 2010 Northeast Ohio IT Industry Report, these funds are crucial as only 20 percent of Northeast Ohio IT companies were formed since 2008.
In addition to financial opportunities, grassroots community support is breathing new life into the entrepreneurial community.
YOUR IT Community
IT Martini is committed to the grassroots community support of Entrepreneurship and early stage companies, at every IT Martini Hour. At each event, local start-ups are invited to demo their products in front of their IT Community, with Tech Entrepreneurs using that exposure to test their product and receive critical feedback.
On Thursday, July 21 at IT Martini Hour 18: Sweet Home Ohio | Presented by Genesis10, six (6) Northeast Ohio early-stage company DEMOs are presenting. Each has their eye on winning the coveted IT Community Choice Award, given to the early stage company that YOUR Cleveland IT Community votes to be the #1 choice.
Past Cleveland IT Community Choice Award winners include Hiring Force and iMobile Support. IT Martini recently checked in on iMobile Support - read more about how they are “Making IT.”
Also presenting on Thursday is Hot Bar Spot, on tour with IT Martini as a winner from Columbus. It allows patrons to go online and check out the atmosphere at local bars and pubs before heading out the door. Video promotion services are provided to the venues so that real-time feeds are available for patrons.
